Utah Bound Orientation

Welcome! We’re looking forward to seeing you on campus this fall! In the meantime, this page gives you a checklist of all you need to know about Utah Bound orientation for incoming Honors students. You’ll find options for on-campus and virtual orientations for both first-time and transfer students.

Incoming First-Year Students (1-day Orientation on Campus)

Attend One (1) Honors College Breakout Session
12:50 pm – 1:15 pm OR 1:25 pm – 1:50 pm

The Honors Team provides an overview of the Honors College, introduces the Honors curriculum by walking through the course planner, and covers the required next steps for their first semester.

Incoming Transfer Students (1-day Orientation on Campus)

Attend the Transfer Resources Panel
1:20 pm - 2:00 pm

Honors Onboarding introduces admitted transfer students to the Honors College—curriculum, expectations, and next steps.

Incoming First-Year and Transfer Students (Virtual Orientation)

Schedule an onboarding appointment via Navigate (Onboarding: First-Year Pathway or Onboarding: Upper-Division Pathway).
