Honors at the
University of Utah

The Honors College at the University of Utah provides high-achieving, highly motivated students like you with a small residential college experience AND the opportunities of a world-class research institution.

We offer a foundational curriculum that teaches you the lifelong learning skills you will need to pivot in whatever directions your life requires, combined with cutting-edge transdisciplinary offerings that address the challenges of today.

Through the thesis project, you engage in deep scholarly or creative work within your discipline. Learning communities and special programs help you cultivate your own capacities in the service of building a better world. Your Honors experience supports your growth and education as a whole person – the life you will lead, not just the career you seek.
