How does the Honors Thesis relate to other aspects of the major, like a Capstone Project?

Students may develop an Honors Thesis alongside or in place of an Ethnic Studies capstone project.

Departmental Coursework Supporting Thesis

Students must complete ETHNC 5900 Methodology and ETHNC 5910 Adv Exploration in ES for the capstone project. Students may also enroll in ETHNC 4999-90 Honors Thesis/Project while working with their faculty advisor.

Specific requirements for the honors thesis must be developed and agreed upon with the faculty mentor.
