College Affordability
The rising cost of higher education has made college increasingly unaffordable, with access and completion rates continuing to be stratified by income and race. This Praxis Lab examined the historical and structural factors that have contributed to the current challenges in college financing and accessibility.
Students explored why existing systems and infrastructure are failing to meet the needs of today’s students and worked to develop innovative, sustainable solutions for making higher education more affordable, accessible, and equitable. Through research, discussions, and hands-on problem-solving, participants contributed to a broader conversation on the future of college affordability.
